Posting guide — Feedback & Ideas

Posting guide — Feedback & Ideas

Feature proposals, workflow ideas, UX friction reports, and honest takes on what myai is missing. We read everything here.

Every post should include

## What problem are you trying to solve?
(Describe the user situation — who hits this, how often, what's the workaround today)

## Who is this for?
(Which role / team / persona would benefit — be specific)

## What have you tried?
(Workarounds, alternative tools, custom code)

## Proposed solution (optional)
(Your idea if you have one — OK to leave blank)

## Non-goals (optional)
(What this request is explicitly NOT asking for)

The What problem and Who is this for sections are load-bearing — they catch the ~40% of feature requests that are actually workflow or docs issues in disguise. The Proposed solution is optional because your proposed solution might be wrong; the problem statement almost never is.

How we use this

  • Vote up what matters to you. We weight vote count + depth of discussion, not just votes.
  • We reply to every top-voted post with a status update within 7 days. Even “noted, low priority” is a reply.
  • Quarterly retrospective in Announcements: “what you asked for, what we shipped.”

What’s NOT a great fit here

  • Bug reportsHelp. We triage real bugs into our internal tracker from there.
  • Questions about current behaviorHelp.
  • Showing off something you builtShow & Tell.
